Description
This security bulletin contains information about 5 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Use of a broken or risky cryptographic algorithm (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-27913)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a weak algorithm issue in the "mt_rand" function. A remote authenticated attacker can takeover accounts at random by enumerating and using access tokens.
2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-27912)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the asset view. A remote authenticated attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-27911)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the contacts view. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
4) Stored cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-27910)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the "error" and "error_related_to" parameters in the Bounce Management Callback. A remote attacker can inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
5) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-27909)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the "bundle" parameter in the password reset page.
