SB2021091002 - Multiple vulnerabilities in RevoWorks Browser

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-20790)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary code on the web browser of the user which is running under the isolated environment.

2) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-20791)

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A local user can bypass implemented security restrictions and alter settings of the web browser.
