Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Double Free (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-1565)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the Control and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points (CAPWAP) protocol. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger double free error and cause a denial of service condition on the target system.



2) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-34768)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error in the Control and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points (CAPWAP) protocol. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
