Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Improper Privilege Management (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-31847)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges.

The vulnerability exists due to improper privilege management within the installer. A local user can escalate privileges.

2) Untrusted search path (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-31841)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges.

The vulnerability exists due to uncontrolled search path. A local user can perform a DLL sideloading attack and gain elevated privileges on the target system.

3) Improper Privilege Management (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-31836)

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to sensitive information on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper privilege management in maconfig. A local user can gain access to sensitive information on the target system.
