Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22802)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing TCP traffic. A remote attacker can trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22803)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of file during file upload within folders in context of the DC module. A remote attacker can upload a malicious file and execute it on the server.
3) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22804)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences in network messages. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and read arbitrary files on the system.
4) Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22805)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to missing validation of user supplied data in network messages. A remote attacker can cause disclosure and read access of arbitrary files in the context of the user running IGSS.
