SB2021120328 - Multiple vulnerabilities in Crafter CMS

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Improper Check or Handling of Exceptional Conditions (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-23261)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of exceptional conditions. A remote authenticated attacker can override system configuration file and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

2) Improper Control of Dynamically-Managed Code Resources (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-23262)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to an unsafe deserialization in the main YAML configuration file. A remote administrator can send a specially crafted request and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
