Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-20613)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to the form validation method does not require POST requests. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.


2) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-20614)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly impose security restrictions. A remote authenticated attacker can use the DNS used by the Jenkins instance to resolve an attacker-specified hostname.
