The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper exception handling in InGamePacketHandler::stupid_json_decode() when decoding form response JSON from ModalFormResponsePacket. A remote attacker can send malformed JSON in a form response packet to cause a denial of service.
