Security Bulletin
This security bulletin contains information about 3 vulnerabilities.
EUVDB-ID: #VU27052
Risk: Low
CVSSv3.1: 5.5 [CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N/E:P/RL:O/RC:C]
CVE-ID: CVE-2020-11022
CWE-ID:
CWE-79 - Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')
Exploit availability: Yes
DescriptionThe disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the regex operation in "jQuery.htmlPrefilter". A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application that uses .html()</code>, <code>.append()
or similar methods for it and execute arbitrary JavaScript code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
MitigationInstall update from vendor's website.

Risk: High
CVSSv3.1: 8.5 [CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H/E:U/RL:O/RC:C]
CVE-ID: CVE-2020-10878
CWE-ID:
CWE-190 - Integer overflow
Exploit availability: No
DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow related to mishandling of a "PL_regkind[OP(n)] == NOTHING" situation. A remote attacker can use a specially crafted regular expression, trigger integer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
MitigationInstall update from vendor's website.

CWE-ID:
CWE-190 - Integer overflow
Exploit availability: No
DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow in the WS-Addressing plugin functionality. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted SOAP request, trigger integer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
