The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to spoof events in the TCG log.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in AKPublic.Verify when processing an attacker-controlled TPM Quote over no or some PCRs. A remote attacker can provide a maliciously formed Quote to spoof events in the TCG log.

Exploitation requires coupling the issue with a maliciously crafted TCG log in Eventlog.Verify, which can defeat remotely attested measured boot.
