Description

The vulnerability allows a remote user to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences. A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request and read arbitrary files on the system.

Note, the vulnerability is being actively exploited in the wild along with #VU62294 (CVE-2021-20028).

Mitigation

Cybersecurity Help is currently unaware of any official solution to address this vulnerability. The product has reached end of life and no patches are expected to be released.
