Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-22137)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the ioca_mys_rgb_allocate functionality. A remote attacker can use a specially crafted file, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Off-by-one (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-23400)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to an off-by-one error in the IGXMPXMLParser::parseDelimiter functionality. A remote attacker can use a specially crafted PSD file, trigger an off-by-one error and either perform a denial of service attack or gain access to sensitive information.
