1) Link following (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-30687)
The vulnerability allows a local user to delete arbitrary files on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insecure link following when deleting files in the secure erase feature. A local user can create a specially crafted link to a critical file on the system and delete it with elevated privileges.
