Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error in LineBuffer::FetchRegion in linebuffer.cpp. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
