1) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in item NBT handling when processing itemstacks received from the client. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted itemstack with an out-of-range item ID to cause a denial of service.
The issue is triggered by an uncaught exception caused by item IDs exceeding the internal allowed range.
