DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input within the lpd daemon. A local user can run a specially crafted program to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges or perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
