This security bulletin contains information about 1 vulnerability.
1) Incorrect calculation (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-31104)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause incorrect program execution within a guest program.
The vulnerability exists due to improper instruction lowering in Cranelift swizzle lowering when executing the i8x16.swizzle WebAssembly instruction on x86_64 hosts. A remote attacker can execute a specially crafted WebAssembly program to cause incorrect program execution within a guest program.
Only x86_64 hosts with WebAssembly SIMD support are affected.
