Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Cleartext storage of sensitive information (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-34803)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to the affected plugin stores API keys unencrypted in its global configuration file com.opsgenie.integration.jenkins.OpsGenieNotifier.xml and in job config.xml files on the Jenkins controller as part of its configuration. A remote user can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
2) Cleartext transmission of sensitive information (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-34804)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to software uses insecure communication channel to transmit sensitive information. A remote user can gain access to sensitive data.
