Description
This security bulletin contains information about 6 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Stored cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-24851)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can permanently inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
2) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-31084)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote user can inject the first constructor argument and execute arbitrary code on the system, if non-LAM classes are instantiated that execute code during object creation.
3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-31085)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Note, the vulnerability can be exploited against Internet Explorer users only.
4) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-31086)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of file during file upload. A remote user can upload arbitrary PHP file and execute it on the server.
5) Incorrect default permissions (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-31087)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to the /lam/tmp/ directory allows interpretation of .php and is writable by default. A remote user with ability to upload PHP files into the temporary directory can execute them later on the server.
6) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-31088)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application. A remote attacker can abuse application behavior on the login page and enumerate user login names.
