Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-22118)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly impose security restrictions in the WebFlux application, which leads to security restrictions bypass and privilege escalation.


2) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-29505)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data. A remote user can pass specially crafted XML data to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
