EUVDB-ID: #VU46729
Risk: Medium
CVSSv3.1: 6.5 [CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H/E:U/RL:O/RC:C]
CVE-ID: CVE-2020-25219
CWE-ID:
CWE-787 - Out-of-bounds write
Exploit availability: No
DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
url::recvline in url.cpp in libproxy 0.4.x through 0.4.15 allows a remote HTTP server to trigger uncontrolled recursion via a response composed of an infinite stream that lacks a newline character. This leads to stack exhaustion.
