The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing UTF-8 character sequences. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger memory corruption and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-24130)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing texts, when Sixel support is enabled. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
