Description

This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-35273)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in GUI setting page. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


2) Use of hard-coded credentials (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-38394)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain full access to vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to presence of hard-coded credentials for the telnet server. A remote unauthenticated attacker can access the affected system using the hard-coded credentials.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


3) Hidden functionality (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-34869)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system

The vulnerability exists due to hidden functionality (backdoor) is present within the telnet function. A remote user can use this functionality to gain full access to the application and compromise the affected system.
