Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform MitM attack.

The vulnerability exists due to Samba does not validate the Validated-DNS-Host-Name for the dNSHostName attribute. A remote attacker can set an arbitrary hostname and perform MitM attack.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
