Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of certain Cisco Discovery Protocol messages. A remote non-authenticated attacker on the local network can send specially crafted Cisco Discovery Protocol packets to the affected device and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
