Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service attack.

The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read error within the net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c in the Linux kernel. A local user can bind to an already bound chain and crash the kernel.

Mitigation

Install update from vendor's website.
