Description
This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-3183)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote unauthenticated attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-3184)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and write arbitrary files on the system.
3) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-3185)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application. A remote attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
4) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-3186)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A remote attacker can bypass implemented security restrictions and access the device’s main management page from the cloud.
5) Improper Authorization (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-3187)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authorization checks.
The vulnerability exists due to an incorrect authorization check in certain PHP pages. A remote attacker can read the state of outlets.
6) Incorrect authorization (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-3188)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authorization checks.
The vulnerability exists due to improper authorization issue. A remote attacker can open PHP index pages without authentication and download the history file from the device.
7) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-3189)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform SSRF attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker gain access to sensitive data, located in the local network or send malicious requests to other servers from the vulnerable system.
