Description
This security bulletin contains information about 6 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted XMT file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
2) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-42901)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted XMT file, trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted SKP file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
4) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-42899)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted SKP file, trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
5) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted FBX file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
6) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-42900)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted FBX, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
