DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of IPv4 and IPv6 packets. A remote attacker can send specially crafted IP packets to the affected device, causing multiple interfaces in the LAG to detach and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability requires that QFX10000 Series devices using Juniper Networks Junos OS are configured as transit IP/MPLS penultimate hop popping (PHP) nodes with link aggregation group (LAG) interfaces.
