DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to incorrect control over memory operations in the Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE). A remote attacker on the local network can cause one or more FPCs to crash and reboot, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
The vulnerability affects Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series.
