Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-3386)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

3) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-3387)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and delete .PDF files on the system.
