Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-20953)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists because excessive permissions have been assigned to system commands. A local user can send a specially crafted request and monitor keystrokes of a USB keyboard that is attached to the affected device.
2) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-20954)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions on files that are within the local file system. A local administrator can place a symbolic link in a specific location on the local file system and overwrite arbitrary files on the target device.
