Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a heap-based buffer over-read within the cfg_tilde_expand() function in confuse.c. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service attack.

Mitigation

Update the affected package libconfuse0 to the latest version.
