Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-2484)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A local user can bypass implemented security restrictions and run modified firmware.
2) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-2482)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the bootloader. A local user can bypass implemented security restrictions and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
3) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-2483)
The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to the bootloader loads public keys for firmware verification signature. A local user can execute a malicious kernel, arbitrary programs or modified Nokia programs.
