1) Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-20950)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a lack of error-checking when SIP bidirectional flows are being inspected by Snort 3. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
