SB2022120844 - Multiple vulnerabilities in Traefik

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-23469)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to authorization header is displayed in the debug logs. A remote attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.

2) Improper Certificate Validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-46153)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper certificate verification within managing the TLS connections. A remote attacker can expose a route secured using an mTLS connection set with a wrong CA file.
