1) Improper check for unusual or exceptional conditions (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-22393)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper check for unusual or exceptional conditions error in BGP route processing. A remote non-authenticated attacker can cause Routing Protocol Daemon (RPD) crash by sending a BGP route with invalid next-hop resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
