Description

This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Incorrect default permissions (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-34824)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect default permissions for files and folders that are set by the application. A remote attacker can overwrite existing files on the file system and execute arbitrary code.

2) Insecure DLL loading (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-34825)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to the application loads DLL libraries in an insecure manner. A remote attacker can overwrite existing files on the file system and execute arbitrary code.

3) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-34822)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and overwrite arbitrary files on the system, leading to remote code execution.

4) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-34823)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
