This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Stored cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-22932)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data passed via the error message in a Base64-encoded image. A remote user can permanently inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in the victim's browser in the context of the affected application.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.


2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-22937)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to upload files with unnecessary extensions.

The vulnerability exists due to the application allows users to upload lookup tables with unnecessary filename extensions. A remote user with the "upload_lookup_files" capability can upload files with unexpected extensions, which can have certain impact on the application.
