SB2023022248 - Multiple vulnerabilities in WSO2 API Manager and Identity Server

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Improper access control (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions when using multiple tenants. A remote user can bypass implemented security restrictions and gain unauthorized access to IDP resources from a different tenant.

2) Security features bypass (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass reCAPTCHA.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation of reCAPTCHA for Secondary Userstore Users. A remote attacker can bypass reCAPTCHA for the secondary user store users when SSO is enabled.
