Description

This security bulletin contains information about 8 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-27984)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input within the openReport function. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted report file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

2) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-27978)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data within the DashFiles class. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

3) Insufficient verification of data authenticity (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-27977)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient verification of data authenticity within the IGSSdataServer process. A remote attacker can delete files in the IGSS project report directory.

4) Insufficient verification of data authenticity (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-27979)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient verification of data authenticity within the IGSSdataServer process. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

5) Insufficient verification of data authenticity (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-27982)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient verification of data authenticity within the IGSSdataServer process. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted dashboard file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

6) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-27981)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences within the getRMSreportFile function. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

7) Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-27980)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to an error within the IGSSdataServer process. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

8) Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-27983)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.

The vulnerability exists due to an error within the IGSSdataServer process. A remote attacker can delete application-specific data.
