Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper error handling in the kernel of Juniper Networks Junos OS. A remote attacker on the local network can send specially crafted IPv6 packets to the affected device and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
