1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-1838)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the vhost_net_set_backend() function in drivers/vhost/net.c. A local user can trigger a use-after-free error and crash the kernel.
