1) Resource management error (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources in smtpd(8) when handling connections from a local, scoped ipv6 address. A local user can send commands to the SMTP server and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in libc resolver. A remote attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds read error and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
