1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-36867)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the Visual Studio Code GitHub Pull Requests and Issues Extension. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the system.
