Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a reachable assertion in Routing Protocol Daemon (RPD). A local user can execute a specific L2VPN command and crash the RPD daemon.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
