This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-30743)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary HTML code.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in sap.m.FormattedText. A remote attacker can trick the victim into clicking on a specially crafted URL and inject an untrusted CSS file into the webpage.



2) Stored cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-33991)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in SAP UI5 Variant Management. A remote user can permanently inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
