Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-20863)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote user can use a specially crafted SpEL expression and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Incorrect default permissions (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-2976)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect default permissions in com.google.common.io.FileBackedOutputStream. A local user with access to the system can view contents of files and directories or modify them.


3) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-39017)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Operations (Quartz) component in Oracle Retail Customer Management and Segmentation Foundation. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code.
