Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Use of insufficiently random values (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-3247)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication.

The vulnerability exists due to a missing error check and insufficient random bytes in HTTP Digest authentication for SOAP. A remote attacker can perform a brute-force attack and bypass authentication process.


2) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-34981)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to HTTP headers are not set in a response. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
