1) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-46250)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in PdfWriter(clone_from) when processing a crafted PDF. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted PDF to cause a denial of service.

The issue can be triggered when a malicious PDF is manipulated, such as during merging with another PDF or when adding annotations.
